You do not have to buy a ticket to enter any C4 Competitions draw. A free postal entry route is available for every competition we run, and a free entry carries exactly the same chance of winning as a paid entry.
All competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over.
How to enter for free
Send your entry by first or second class post to:

Include the following information with your entry. All details must match the details on your account:
- The name or details of the competition you wish to enter
- Your full name
- Your address
- A contact telephone number and email address
- Your answer to the competition question, if there is one
Rules for free entries
- Hand delivered entries will not be accepted and will not be entered into the draw.
- Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.
- You may make multiple free entries for any competition, up to any entry limit we have set, but each entry must be posted separately. Several entries in one envelope will be counted as a single entry.
- Your entry must reach us before the closing date. Entries received after the closing date will not be entered into the draw, and proof of posting does not guarantee entry.
- We do not acknowledge receipt of postal entries, and we cannot confirm whether your answer to the competition question is correct.
- If a competition reaches its ticket cap before your free entry arrives, your entry will not be included in the draw.
How winners are chosen
C4 Competitions runs prize competitions, not lotteries. Every entrant — paid or free — must answer the competition question correctly to be entered. All correct entries are then placed into a verified random draw, and the winner is selected at random. Free postal entries are entered into exactly the same draw as paid entries.
